We have ridden RAGBRAI 5 years previously as Team Crude. Each link on this page details one of those years. In addition here's a link to Team-RAGBRAI which lists a lot of the teams that have done RAGBRAI for a few years.

The first trip to RAGBRAI for Jim and Lee Griffin was 1995 and we took Lee's Westfalia and the first Gunga Din, Matt Summer. He drove from town to town, found a campsite and setup camp for the night. But his most important duty (and the most important for any Gunga Din) was to purchase the beer and have it cooled when we arrived. Luckily he didn't drink too much of it by the time we arrived.
