Crude: (1) in a raw or natural condition; not refined; not prepared, as by heating or other processes. (2) immature; unripe; not mellowed; as, the harsh flavor of crude fruit. (3) unadorned; bare; as, crude reality. (4) not well formed,  arranged or prepared; rough; imperfect; as, a crude plan or theory; crude work. (5) lacking finish, grace, tact, taste, etc.; uncultured; as, a crude fellow.

Team Organizers

The Griffin brothers, Jim and Lee have served as team organizers (not team leaders - NOBODY could lead this bunch of reprobates - that's sort of like herding cats) since the beginnings of Team Crude. Both first rode RAGBRAI in 1995, vended for a few years and then decided that was too much work and wanted to ride again. Our first Team Crude venture was in 1999. Team members by year are:
