2003

Work has already begun preparing for this year's MS-150 Bike Tour to be held on September 20 and 21. As team members are committed to participating they'll be listed here. If your name's not here and you're planning on riding and raising money this year, e-mail the webmaster and we'll be sure your name's added. If your name is listed here and you're not riding, again e-mail the webmaster.

One great newsworthy item is that Mark Biedniak of Appetite Adventures Catering will be coming back to feed us Saturday evening again. We can hardly wait to see what Mark's going to do this year.

Event

Friday, 19 September saw quite a few Team Crude members at Fuel-Up Friday. The bus wasn't there this year as we only had a couple of people actually bring their gear last year. Instead it was at Southcrest Hospital early Saturday morning and we loaded everything there. As usual we were late getting started but it wasn't Tomilyn's fault.

Saturday evening was a success again for everybody on the ride this year. Brain Freezers were available (again) and the beer was flowing. Surprisingly our keg of Fat Tire made it through the night with some left.

But for Team Crude the highlight of the evening had to be the wonderful meal prepared by Mark Biedniak of Appetite Adventures Catering and Donna Griffin just for our team. Just like last year (don't fix it if it ain't broke) prime rib was the main entree in a great meal. Other items included a vegetable medley (you should have heard them sing),  garlic mashed potatoes, bread from Ferrell's Bakery, brownies and a cherry cobbler which was all cooked to absolute perfection. Once again the Team Crude chefs came through with the best meal on the MS-150.

Pictures

Since virtually all of these first pictures were taken by Brian there are quite a few of Teresa, not that that's a bad thing.
