Event

Friday, 20 September the bus was loaded with coolers and some of the team member's gear. The rest loaded their gear on Saturday morning at Southcrest Hospital. Off we went with Cindy Lou complaining all day long that it's a long way to ride on a bicycle. And she's right, 84 miles is a long way to ride on a bicycle, especially with all those hills that somebody put in the route this year.

Saturday evening was a great success, not only for Team Crude but for everybody else on the ride this year. Brain Freezers were available for everybody again this year and later beer was flowing. The Dinosaurs came back and provided music for the party and we had the mini-bike races again this year late in the evening. Overall a great time was had by all.

But for Team Crude the highlight of the evening had to be the wonderful meal prepared by Mark Biedniak of Appetite Adventures Catering and Donna Griffin just for our team. Prime rib, veggies, pasta salad, baked potatoes and garlic bread which was all cooked to absolute perfection. As Lee had promised, it was the best meal anybody has had at a Tulsa MS-150 overnight.
